I have a solid foundation in LLM architecture, from neural networks to transformers through Andrej Karpathy's lectures. I am able to apply LLMs effectively in AI and NLP based solutions.

Evolutionary Machine Learning

Evolutionary machine learning sparked my interest in AI research and is my strongest area of expertise. I was fortunate to learn from Dr. Chilukuri Mohan, an early contributor and leader in the field, who has been instrumental in my AI journey.

Artificial Neural Networks

I have a strong foundation in artificial neural networks, with experience in designing architectures for various applications. I plan to take Dr. Mohan's ANN class in the spring; he authored Elements of Artificial Neural Networks, which will enhance my understanding of advanced techniques.

ML Applications to Radar

Through research experiences with Dr. Varshney and Dr. Mohan I gained knowledge in radar technology, with insights that have transferred to my broader AI work. I’ve learned to work with multi-dimensional space, utilize complex distance measures, and operate large simulations to develop innovative solutions.

Traditional Machine Learning

I pride myself on being well-versed in traditional ML techniques like PCA, kernel machines, clustering, and regression, enhancing my ability to tackle diverse modeling challenges.

Integrated advanced algorithms such as Kalman filters, Mahalanobis distance, and covariance-based track retention to enhance tracking accuracy and performance

Engaged in strategic meetings to analyze the performance of the Deep-Q Neural Network, focusing on refining and innovating the reward function.

Dr. Varshney has been addressing fundamental questions in statistics-based signal processing, data/information fusion, sensor data processing, data analytics, machine learning and AI. I have been fortunate to gain extensive knowledge about radar technology and the applications of AI in this field through his guidance during my work on the SAAB project
